Haiti Charity Single.

From this evening you will be able to download Simon Cowell´s version of the REM classic Everybody Hurts, and tomorrow you will be able to buy the single at all good record stores.

The single is to help raise funds for the hundreds of thousands of people who are affected by the devastating earth quake of the 12 of January.
Apparently the Prime Minister contacted Simon to put together a Band Aid-style single. The government is also to waive the sales tax on the single.
The recording took place in the same studio as the original Band Aid track with: Alexander Burke who sings the opening line with JLS, X-Factor judge Cheryl Cole, and this year’s X-Factor winner Joe McElderry.

Among the other stars who contribute are Kylie Minogue, Mica, Rod Stewart, Robbie Williams and Susan Boyle.
Half the proceeds will go to the Sun´s Helping Haiti Fund and the remaining to the Disasters Emergency Committee.
