Top 50 Albums of the Decade (2000-2009)

What changes have we seen over the last decade? Probably the biggest change is the way we now buy our music.
Gone are the heady days of vinyl –my preferred music format- the CD now seems old hat as the digital download is fast becoming our musical drug of choice.
We have also seen a massive growth in musical genres, I remember the days when there was Soul, Rock, Pop, Disco and Rock N Roll, today there are hundreds of genres within genres it’s hard to keep up.
I found it hard picking my albums of the year never mind of the last decade so here we go, my best of the decade in no particular order.
