Sparkle Countdown
We have a “soft launch” planned for around mid-December 2009 and all our “early bird” members (sign up here) will get 12 months FREE.
The pre-Christmas soft launch will have -
- Profiles
- Images
- Searching
- Single player games
- Blogs
- Forums
- Chat
- Instant Messaging
- Emails
February 2010 we then plan the launch of the complete Sparkle site with lots of lovely new features -
- Video upload
- Audio upload
- Multi-player games with leagues & prizes
- “Points make prizes ” rewards
The points system will be unique amongst social sites, earning you prize-points for a wide range of activities like comments, picture uploads, games, and interacting with other members.
So, not only will you have great fun on Sparkle, but you can earn prize points every day

I have just seen some screen-shots of the new Sparkle site – and my reaction….. WOW.
We knew we had got a great team over in the States, but this exceeds all my expectations.
Hopefully we can get these screens up for comment very soon and then count the days until the site goes live

Cant wait till up and running need a new site like this. Glad Michaela Cohen/ Bliss informed me about this she would do well at a project like this.

a suggestion maybe to add a question and answer tab, available to all the screens, which can be added to as well as readable. how do i access sparkle without going through fb. experiance of sparkle so far, a lot of potential with good basic ideas.

Good idea Adrien.
When we get the site in about 10 days it will need a lot of tailoring to get it to work the way we want, but ideas like the editable FAQ will help us steer it in the direction needed by the users.
